2010-2011 (senior): Played in 18 games, starting in 15…finished the season with an overall record of 4-10-1 in 950:29 of playing time accrued...finished the season allowing 50 goals, 18 on the power play and two short-handed…ended with a 3.12 GAA and a .885 save percentage…recorded his first win of the season Oct. 22 with a 5-4 win over Alabama-Huntsville recording 19 saves on 23 shots…put together his best performance of the season on against Lake Superior State (Dec. 3) stopping 26-of-27 shots to secure a 1-1 tie before losing in the shootout...saved a season-high 30 shots twice, both times against Notre Dame (Nov. 5 and Feb. 12)…between Nov. 5 and Dec. 3 he allowed two or fewer goals four times in a five-game span, tallying a 3-1-1 record over that time and stopping a total of 124 shots on 133 attempts (.930)…finished the conference season playing in 12 games, racking up 687:16 of playing time…posted a 3.32 GAA, .879 save percentage and a 2-9-1 record with one shootout loss against CCHA opponents…ended his career as a Falcon against Michigan in the second round of the CCHA Tournament in a relief effort, tallying 8:54 of ice time and one save against the Wolverines…signed a professional contract with the Toledo Walleye (ECHL) on March 31 to be with the team for their final three regular season games.
2009-10 (junior): Played in 27 games, starting 21…finished the season with an overall record of 5-13-4…finished the season allowing 74 goals, 25 on the power play and four short-handed…ended with a 3.30 GAA and a .896 save percentage…in four shoot out opportunities he is 3-1, twice defeating Notre Dame…he stopped 7-of-11 shots in shoot out situations this season…started the season stopping 32-of-35 shots against Minnesota State in a one-goal loss on opening night…pitched 60 minutes of near-perfect goaltending, allowing one goal in the team’s first win of the season (3-1) against Alaska on Nov. 13…allowed two goals, one a power-play goal, at Michigan for his second win stopping 29 shots…in just under 82 minutes of ice time against Michigan during the team’s second home-and-home series, he allowed only two goals and stopped 40 shots before leaving the ice in game two due to an cut on his right ankle…led the team to a 1-0-1-1 showing against Notre Dame on Feb. 19-20 with a 4-3 win and a 1-1, including his second shootout victory over the Irish…in his five wins, he played all 60:00, allowed only 11 goals and stopped 111 shots…in that time he posted a 2.20 GAA and .910 save percentage.
2008-09 (sophomore): Played in seven games, all CCHA contests, making four starts...missed the first 20 games of the season with a left ankle sprain suffered the end of September in preseason drills...did not see action until coming in to relieve Jimmy Spratt against Ohio State (Jan. 9) where he allowed a short-handed goal and made ten saves… also recorded an assist against Ohio State…recorded another assist at Miami (Jan. 30)… finished the season with two assists, an 0-5-0 record, 4.58 GAA and a .805 save percentage…made 103 saves on the year…saved a season high 27 shots at Miami (Jan. 30).
2007-08 (freshman): A CCHA All-Rookie Team selection...played in 23 games, getting the start in 21...posted a 12-10-0 record, as he finished with a 2.79 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage...got his first collegiate start and victory in the Falcons' 5-3 win at RIT (Oct. 18), stopping 29-of-32 shots he faced...his 2-0 start made him the first BG freshman to start 2-0 in net since Bob Petrie did it during the 1993-94 season...stopped 27 of 30 shots to earn his third-straight victory to start the season in a 6-3 win at Ferris State (Nov. 9), also tallying his first-career assist on BG's final goal of the game...made 53 stops on 55 shots in a two-game home-and-home sweep of Western Michigan (Jan. 18-19)...set a new career-high in two consecutive starts at Ohio State (Feb. 1-2), stopping 39-of-41 shots in a 5-2 win in game one and making 40 saves on 44 shots in game two (Feb. 2)...made 39 saves on 40 shots in BG’s 3-1 win at UNO (Feb. 16)...won his first career playoff start with 20 saves in game one over Lake Superior State (Mar. 7)...was just the third Falcon goaltender to be named to the CCHA All-Rookie Team...his goals-against average ranked as the seventh-best single-season average in school history, while his save percentage ranked tied for seventh...in conference play, he had a 9-7-0 slate with a 2.51 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage, which both ranked in the top-five on the all-time school single-season list for games in the CCHA.
Prior to BGSU: Seventh round pick of the Buffalo Sabres (187th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft...played with Green Mountain of the EJHL...posted a 9-14-2 record with one shutout, as he finished in the top 10 in the league in both save percentage (.902) and goals against average (3.60)...earned a spot in the EJHL All-Star game...averaged 30.88 saves a game as he played in 25 games making a total of 772 saves for the season...first player to be drafted to the NHL from the Green Mountain franchise.
