A native of Plain City, Ohio (Jonathan Alder H.S.), Prochaska led all players with 28 points in the Falcons' lone game of the previous week, the 73-64 win at Butler that closed the non-conference portion of the schedule (Dec. 29). Prochaska also had six rebounds, four assists and four steals in the win in Indianapolis.
In that win, her season-high total of nine field goals made included four from three-point range. She led all players in steals and tied for game honors in assists. The win was the Falcons' 12th of the year, setting a new school and MAC record for non-conference victories in a season.
BGSU is now 13-1 on the year after Wednesday's (Jan. 5) MAC-opening win at Ohio University.
In the classroom, Prochaska has a 3.24 cumulative grade-point average as a sport management major.
The MAC Scholar-Athlete-of-the-Week honor is presented to a male and a female student-athlete who has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and who performed well during the previous week's competition. The winners are selected by a group of the conference's faculty athletics representatives.
The Falcons of head coach Curt Miller are preparing to begin the home portion of the MAC schedule. BGSU will face Miami University on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 8) in a 2:00 p.m. start at Anderson Arena.
