Falcons To Appear On Regional/National Television Minimum Of Four Times

Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference has announced a 39-game regional men's and women's basketball television package produced and distributed by SportsTime Ohio (STO), the league's regional cable partner. The 39 scheduled games are part of the largest men's and women's television package in league history. In addition, there will be at least 12 other men's basketball games that are scheduled to be televised on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3).

Bowling Green is slated to appear at least three times on STO and another time on ESPNU. As well, there are multiple wild-card selections and the MAC Tournament, giving the Falcons the opportunity to play on STO and/or the ESPN family of networks a dozen other times.

As was already announced, Bowling Green will play on ESPNU on Nov. 13 when the Falcons play at Georgia as part of the Progressive CBE Classic. The Falcons will also play on STO for the team's MAC opener at home against Ohio on Saturday, Jan. 7. Also, Bowling Green's game at Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Jan. 28 will appear on STO. Finally, BGSU's home game against Northern Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 4 will appear on the regional channel.

Due to the television opportunities, there have been numerous time changes. All three games on STO have been moved to 6 p.m. start times. Also, Bowling Green's men's basketball game at home against Toledo on Feb. 11 has been moved to a 4 p.m. start as the BGSU/Toledo women's game has been moved to a noon start for television.

Aside from STO, games that are scheduled as part of the regional package can be seen in the MAC footprint via Comcast Michigan (channel 900), Comcast Indiana (channel 81) and Comcast Sports Net Chicago. Please check your local listings for game times and local availability. Games will also be available via STO in the Buffalo market on DirecTV (channel 662) and Dish Network (channel 431).

Michael Reghi will be joined by MAC Hall of Famer and former Toledo and Philadelphis 76ers standout Steve Mix as the talent for the MAC men's basketball regional package.

In addition to the regional and national MAC programming, Bowling Green has a partnership with local television station BCSN. Most Falcon home games not appearing on STO or an ESPN platform will be televised on BCSN and streamed live through BGSUFalcons.com, courtesy of the America One Network.
