Basketball Teams Show Off For Falcon Madness

Bowling Green, Ohio - Fans of the Bowling Green men's and women's basketball teams got the opportunity to catch a first glimpse of the 2011-12 Falcon teams during Falcon Madness Friday night.

While the women's basketball team has been practicing for more than a week, Falcon Madness served as the men's basketball team's first practice of the year. The two teams showed off their skills in a three-point contest, a dunk contest, a shooting exhibition, and short scrimmages.

The next opportunity for fans to see the two teams will come when the men's team plays in the Orange and Brown scrimmage on Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. in the Stroh Center. The next chance to see the women will be when the team hosts Findlay in an exhibition game Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Stroh Center.
