Gymnastics Announces 2011-12 Schedule

COMPLETE SCHEDULE
The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team, along with head coach Kerrie Beach, has announced its schedule for the 2011-12 season. The highlights of the schedule are four home meets and four trips to BCS schools.
The Falcons will open the season with a trip to Lexington, Ky., for a four-team meet between Kentucky, Oklahoma and Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Beach served as the head coach for Wisconson-Oshkosh from 2000-02.
BGSU will open the home portion of the season with a Mid-American Conference meet with Central Michigan on Sat., Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. inside Anderson Arena. The Falcons will also host West Virginia (Jan. 21), Northern Illinois (Feb. 11) and Eastern Michigan (Mar. 17).
Coach Beach and the Falcons have seven road meets. Following the season opener at Kentucky they will also travel to Western Michigan (Jan. 29), Maryland (Feb. 5), Pittsburgh (Feb. 18), Missouri (Feb. 24), Ball State (Mar. 2) and Kent State (Mar. 11).
The Mid-American Conference Championship will be on March 24 in DeKalb, Ill., hosted by Northern Illinois.
