Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green shot 52 percent from the field and outscored Northern Illinois 40-22 in the second half to defeat the Huskies 74-54 Tuesday night in the opening round of the MAC Tournament. The Falcons will return to the MAC Tournament quarterfinals after a one-year hiatus for a game Thursday at noon against Western Michigan at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
