Reviewing The Bradley Classic

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. -- The Bowling Green State University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Bradley Classic Friday afternoon, completing their final tune-up meet before the MAC Championships. The men picked up a 15th place team finish, completing the 8K course in a total time of 2:11.57, and an average time of 26:23.30.
Senior Josh Franek once again led the way for the Orange and Brown, setting a personal best with his 25.49 time, earning a 55th place finish. Freshman Tim Jurick finished second for the Falcons, completing the course in 26.09 for an 80th place finish. Junior Perry Fraylick also set a personal best, completing the course in 26.28, just over one minute under his previous 8K low. Junior Joe van Bolderen (26.42) and sophomore Tom Hipwell (26.50) rounded out the Falcons' top five.
The women finished sixth overall as a team in the 6K run, beating out 17 of the 23 teams that competed. The group finished with a total time of 1:49.50, and an average time of 21:57.84.
Redshirt junior Abby Koch paced the women, finishing the course in a personal best 21.40 to earn a 17th place finish. Sophomore Kendra Kezur came in second for the Orange and Brown with a time of 21.48, ranking 26th against the field. Redshirt freshmen Jasmine Redman (21.56) and Andrea Alt (21.57) we're not far behind, finishing in 31st and 34th place, respectively. Freshman Rebecca Rae rounded out the Falcons' top five, finishing with a time of 22.30 for a 67th place finish.
