Falcons Finish 6th at Great Lakes for Best Regional Since 1998

Senior Kylee Cubbison led the charge with a record-setting run, breaking the school 6K mark with a time of 20:24.05. Her 14th-place finish earned her All-Region honors and capped a standout fall for the All-MAC runner.
Bowling Green placed five athletes inside the top 50. Rachael Withrow, a MAC Second Team selection, followed in 31st with a 20:48.05, while Rachael Hoover crossed in 47th at 20:58.80. Team captain Regina Rose finished 43rd in 21:04.43, and Lexi Panning rounded out the Falcons' scoring five with a 50th-place finish in 21:11.98.
Reese Reaman placed 86th in 21:45.84, and Marissa Boone closed out the lineup in 151st at 22:42.31.
Head coach Lou Snelling praised the group's resilience and preparation.
"Opportunity, pride, and commitment all came together today for Bowling Green. This group has been working hard for many weeks, months, years to put themselves in this position," Snelling said. "We identified the opportunity early, and their deep ownership of this program guided the way from there. Our seniors Regina Rose (team captain) and Kylee Cubbison were instrumental in making this possible. Our many returners are hungry to keep this level of accomplishment Rolling Along."
With the cross country season complete, the Falcons now shift focus to the indoor track and field campaign, which begins next Friday with their annual Orange and Brown intrasquad meet.
