Crawford, Rogers Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's basketball player Jordon Crawford and women's basketball player Alexis Rogers.

Male Athlete of the Week
Jordon Crawford, a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio, averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds in a pair of near-upsets over power six conference schools this week, including scoring a career-high 27 points in a wild triple overtime loss at South Florida. Crawford opened the week with 10 points, seven assists, three rebounds and two steals against No. 20 Michigan State. Against USF, Crawford went scoreless in the first half before exploding for his career-high and he added six rebounds and four assists, while making four three-pointers.
Female Athlete of the Week
Alexis Rogers, a junior from West Chester, Ohio, had a double-double and scored the last four points of the game as the Falcons posted a come-from-behind, 64-61 victory at Massachusetts. Rogers had 18 points, a game-high 12 rebounds, an assist and two steals in the victory, and she was 8-of-9 from the free-throw line. She was a perfect 4-for-4 in the final 28.5 seconds of the game. Rogers had 16 points and nine rebounds in the second half alone, and scored BGSU's last seven points of the game.
