Gymnastics Training Update (Nov.)

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team is entering the final stretch of the preseason before the competitive season begins in January. The above video shows training footage of the Falcons from practices and intrasquads throughout the month of November.

The Falcons welcome back all four of their NCAA Regional Qualifiers from 2012, including MAC Freshman of the Year Jamilah Ali. Danielle Wishart, Gina Locigno and Megan Harrington also return from the group that set a school record for the number of gymnasts to qualify to regionals. In addition, BGSU adds three talented freshmen gymnasts to the roster, including J.O. National Champion Alyssa Nocella.

The gymnastics team opens the 2013 schedule with back-to-back home meets in Anderson Arena, taking on Ohio State Jan. 5 and Texas Woman's University Jan. 12.
