Women's Soccer Falcons Begin 'Spring' Schedule Saturday

BGSU hosts Valparaiso at Perry Field House
The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team begins the 'spring' portion of the schedule on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 18). Head coach Andy Richards and the Falcons host Valparaiso University at Perry Field House.
Saturday's match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m., and admission is free.
The Valpo match is the first of five spring competition dates for the Falcons, with BG playing at home for four of those five events. The Falcons' lone road trip of the spring sees the team head to Cleveland State on the last day of March, before Richards and Company return to Northwest Ohio for three events in the month of April.
The Falcons will host Saginaw Valley State under the lights at Cochrane Field on April 6, with that match beginning at 7:00 p.m. Two weekends later, the Brown and Orange will host the BGSU Spring Tournament (April 21), with multiple matches taking place at both Cochrane Field and the team's practice field. The spring tourney begins at 10:00 a.m.
Then, the Falcons will conclude the spring schedule with the team's annual Alumnae Match, as numerous former BGSU greats will return to their old stomping grounds. The Alumnae Match begins at 3:00 p.m. on April 28.
