Williamson, Kain Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Bryce Williamson and swimmer Alexis Kain.
Male Athlete of the Week
Bryce Williamson, a sophomore from Seba Beach, Alberta, scored the game-winning goal in a 4-3 victory over No. 3 Michigan Friday night. He scored with 1:24 remaining in the contest to give the Falcons the win and assisted on another goal during the contest.
Female Athlete of the Week
Alexis Kain, a junior from Cincinnati, Ohio, won silver medals at the MAC Swimming and Diving Championships in the 100- and 200-yard breastroke. She set a new school record with a time of 1:01.61 in the 100 and posted a season-best time of 2:14.06 in the 200. Kain also had a career-best time of 23.87 in the 50 freestyle and compete on three Falcon relay teams, each of which finished fourth.
