BGSU Women's Basketball Banquet Set for April 7

The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team will hold its annual banquet on Saturday afternoon, April 7, in the Bowen Thompson Student Union Ballroom on the BGSU campus. The day's events will begin with a social at 12:30 p.m., with the meal at 1:00 p.m. with the program to follow.

The cost is $30 per person or $50 per couple. Additional ways to impact the overall success of the BGSU women's basketball program include being a player sponsor ($30) or a table sponsor ($270 for a table of 10).
The Falcons' senior class of Maribeth Giese and Jessica Slagle will be recognized, and the team's end-of-season awards will be handed out as well.
Space is limited, so early reservations are encouraged. For more information or to order your tickets, please print and fill out the attached form or contact the basketball office at (419) 372-3710. The deadline to order tickets is Friday, March 30.
The 2011-12 Falcons won a Mid-American Conference division title for the eighth consecutive year, and BGSU captured the league's outright regular-season crown for the seventh time in those eight years. The Falcons of head coach Curt Miller, associate head coach Jennifer Roos, assistants Brandi Poole and Kevin Eckert and director of operations Monique Rosati finished with a 14-2 MAC mark, and BGSU is 24-6 overall heading into Thursday night's (March 15) WNIT first-round game vs. VCU at the Stroh Center.
