A Closer Look At Bowling Green Softball: Jamie Kertes And Paris Imholz
April 25, 2012 | Softball
The Bowling Green State University softball team has made a remarkable turn around this season, earning 19 more wins than last year. This year's team has already earned 31 victories, compared to last season's 12-win effort. The Falcons have experienced a bigger improvement than any other team in college softball, and with eight regular season games to be played, the win total continues to grow.
A big part of the team's success comes from the arrival of freshmen pitchers Jamie Kertes and Paris Imholz. Both have played in a ton of innings this season, splitting a large majority of the playing time in games. Both pitchers have actually played the exact same number of innings, collecting 152.1 innings of work this season. Each of their stats can be found below, along with a video feature on the two young players.
