Softball Welcomes Detroit Mercy For Weekday Battle

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. -- The Bowling Green State University softball team went 3-1 over the past weekend, splitting its doubleheader with Kent State on Friday, before sweeping Buffalo in back-to-back days to finish the road trip. The Falcons are now 21-14 overall, passing the 20-win mark for the first time since 2007, when the team finished the year 33-12. Bowling Green is currently 6-2 in MAC play, matching their conference win total from all of last season (6-15). The Falcons now welcome Detroit Mercy to Bowling Green, a team Bowling Green swept at home last season. The Falcons outscored the Titans 22-3 last season, with Bowling Green holding 34-7 all-time record against Detroit.

- In MAC play, junior Hannah Fulk is hitting .435 with two home runs, five doubles and one triple. She has also walked nine times in eight conference games, while carrying a slugging percentage of 1.000.
