Trio of Falcons Post Season-Bests at Day Two of MAC Championships

The Bowling Green State University track & field team had three Falcons post season-bests on day two of the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships, hosted by Central Michigan University.
Allorain Horne (twice), Natalie Sommerville and Allison Weimer all posted season-bests in their event(s). Horne led the way with a pair of bests in the 100 and 200 meters. The sophomore finished the 100 meters in a time of 12.20, finishing 16th and the 200 meters in 24.88, finishing 18th.
Sommerville finished 11th in the 400 meter hurdles in a time of 1:03.58. The freshman almost did the same in the 100 meter hurdles, finishing 16th in a time of 16.15, nearly surpassing her previous-best of 16.05.
Weimer smashed her previous-best in the 400 meters (57.10), blazing the event in a time of 56.50. The junior nearly squeaked into the finals, finishing 11th.
The third an final day of the MAC Championships will start Saturday at 11 a.m.
