Bands To Perform New Material At Stroh Center Concert

Bowling Green, Ohio - The final countdown has begun for GRAMMY-nominated Sanctus Real's triumphant return to the Stroh Center on the campus of Bowling Green State University on Saturday, August 11 at 7 p.m.
Joining Sanctus Real for the first time at the Stroh will be two other up-and-coming Christian rock bands: The Afters and Southbound Fearing. Anticipation is building among fans as both Sanctus Real and The Afters will be performing material from their new projects that are due out in 2013.
Tickets are $20 for reserved seats, and just $15 for groups of 10 or more. A limited number of seats in the first 10 rows on the floor are still available for $30.
Sanctus Real formed in Toledo in 1996 and features Matt Hammitt on lead vocals, Chris Rohman on guitar, Mark Graalman on drums, Dan Gartley on bass, and Pete Prevost on guitar. The band is currently performing shorter sets at some of the country's major festivals, as they also spend time in the studio recording their new album.
The Afters consists of founding members Josh Havens (lead vocals/keys/guitars) and Matt Fuqua (vocals/guitars), along with new members Dan Ostebo (bass) and Jordan Mohilowski (drums). The band has a tremendous following in their own right and has created great buzz with their back-to-back No. 1 hits Light Up The Sky and Lift Me Up. They are currently in the studio working on their newest album, and have recorded a new single that will be released to radio in the fall.
Toledo's own Southbound Fearing has earned a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the music industry, playing well over 100 dates every year. The group consists of Brady Leonard on vocals/guitar, Eric Ade on guitar, Nathan Rentz on bass, and Jason Ferris on drums. The band's new album, “Bad Dreams and Melodies,” is set to be released in early October.
