Evans Previews this Weekend's Matches at Cochrane Field

BGSU hosts Illinois State, Loyola (Ill.) to close non-conference schedule

The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team begins a season-long four-match homestand this weekend with a pair of games at Cochrane Field. Head coach Kellie Evans and the Falcons host Illinois State on Friday evening (Sept. 14), with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m., before meeting Loyola University Chicago on Sunday (Sept. 16) in a 1:00 p.m. start.

On Thursday afternoon, Evans took a few minutes prior to practice to discuss the team's upcoming games, her thoughts about coaching against her former team and several other subjects.

Following this weekend's matches, the Falcons open Mid-American Conference play with home contests against Ohio (Sept. 21) and Kent State (Sept. 23).
