Each month, the BGSU Department of Athletics highlights a Falcon Club member, providing an opportunity to get to know them. For September, Chris Burch has been chosen. Chris is a former lacrosse player under Head Coach Mickey Cochrane.

Occupation: Retired as VP Labor Relations, Compass Group USA; currently outdoor photographer (Wild Oak Photography)

Current Residence: Bowling Green, Ohio
Childhood Ambition: Professional baseball
Fondest Memory of BGSU Athletics: I played lacrosse for Mickey Cochrane in 1965; The BG basketball game against Loyola in 1963.
Favorite Music: Motown 60's and 70's
Proudest Moment: Re-connecting with my kids over the last six years
Biggest Challenge: Trying to weigh what I did in 1966.

Favorite thing about BGSU: Diversity; energy on campus; and the job the faculty, coaches and staff do helping to develop other people's children into the kind of adults I want looking after me in my old age.
Three items you can't live without: “Items are things” so I don't have any needs in that area.

Something others may not know about me: I'm a closet song and dance man.
Supporting the Falcon Club is important to me because: After meeting the coaches and those that work diligently to support them and the BG athletic programs, my wife Dianne and I agree that we would feel safe having our grandchildren attend BG, participate in those athletic programs and be taught and cared for by those people. I'm proud to be a Falcon; my son David is a BG Alum. So we support the Falcon Club so they can continue to do what they do.
