Women's Soccer Falcons Announce Spring Schedule

"I'm excited about the schedule we have set this spring," said Basalyga. "All six games will present different challenges and I'm eager to see how we match up against teams from various levels.
"There will be plenty of opportunity for every player to see different positional roles as we start working toward a playing system that will work best for us next fall."
The schedule begins on February 23, as the Falcons make a short trip north to Toledo. BGSU will face both the Rockets and Valparaiso in indoor, 9v9 games.
The Falcons then play back-to-back road matches against regional powers, as BG travels to face Michigan (March 17) and Dayton (March 23). The Wolverines went 16-5-3 last season, advancing to the NCAA Tournament's Round of 16, while the Flyers had a 14-4-2 record and led the nation in scoring offense in 2012.
BGSU will welcome Ohio Dominican and Siena Heights to town for matches on April 6, and the Falcons will host Ashland one week later (April 13). The spring schedule concludes on April 20, as numerous former BGSU greats will return to their old stomping grounds for the annual Alumnae Game, which begins at 2:00 p.m.
