Falcons Compete At Zips Invite

Akron, Ohio – The Bowling Green track and field team took limited student-athletes to the Zips Invite Friday night looking to better their season-best times.
Freshman Tiera Parker ran in the 60 entering with a season-best time of 7.89 seconds. She finished fifth at the meet but was unable to improve upon her time, running a 7.98.
Junior Brea Tinny placed second in the 3000 with a time of 10:12.42 and freshman Andrea Alt ended third in 10:13.80. Both runners were less than two seconds off their season-best times.
Bowling Green will compete next in the MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Eastern Michigan, Friday and Saturday.
