Women's Soccer Falcons Begin Home Portion of Spring Schedule Saturday

The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team opens the home portion of the spring schedule on Saturday (April 6). The Falcons of head coach Lindsay Basalyga will play host to a four-team, day-long tournament at Cochrane Field.

BGSU will be joined by a pair of nearby schools in Ohio Dominican and Siena Heights, along with St. Catharines, a club team from Ontario. Matches will consist of two 30-minute halves, with the Falcons and ODU each playing three matches on the day, and each of the other two programs playing twice.

The Falcons of Basalyga and assistant coach Rhonda Gottschalk will meet St. Catherines in the first match of the day, beginning at 10:00 a.m. St. Catherines will then play ODU in an 11:30 a.m. match, with BGSU returning to the pitch for a 1:00 p.m. matchhup with Siena Heights. After Siena Heights meets ODU at 2:30 p.m., the Brown and Orange will close the day by taking on ODU in a 4:00 p.m. match.

BGSU will be back at home on Saturday, April 13, taking on Ashland at 11:00 a.m. and Findlay in a 4:00 p.m. start.
