Softball Announces Fall Schedule

Coach Salsburg has annouced that the Falcons will play Owens Community College and the University of Findlay.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University softball program, lead by eighth year head coach Shannon Salsburg, is please to announce two dates for upcoming 2013 fall schedule, which will be played at Meserve Field.
Coach Salsburg and the Falcons will play their first of two doubleheaders on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 1:00 p.m. against Owens Community College. The Orange and Brown will play their second doubleheader the following Sunday (Sept. 29) against the University of Findlay.
In 2013, coach Salsburg completed her seventh season, finishing the year with a 27-24 overall record, including a record of 7-9 in the Mid-American Conference. As a team, Bowling Green finished the year ranked seventh in the MAC, earning a trip to the conference postseason tournament for the second-straight season. Salsburg's 27 wins pushed her overall career record to 153-176, giving her the second most wins in the history of the program.
Under coach Salsburg's guidance, the Falcons saw four players earn all-conference honors, including first-team selections for Hannah Fulk and Jamie Kertes and second-team selections for Paige Berger and Paris Imholz.
