Amanda Lievendag Named MAC Specialist Of The Week

Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green State University gymnast Amanda Lievendag has been named the Mid-American Conference's Specialist of the Week after her performance in the Falcons' season opener Saturday.
Competing against No. 12 Oregon State and No. 19 Ohio State, Lievendag, a junior from Baldwin, Md., tied her personal best score on the uneven bars with a meet-best score of 9.875. She also posted a 9.775 on vault, tying for fifth place among all competitors.
It is the second time in Lievendag's career that she has earned MAC Specialist of the Week honors, achieving the recognition once last year. She will help lead the Falcons this week as they open MAC play at Western Michigan Friday at 7 p.m.
