Women's Cross Country Regionally Ranked Following 7th Place Finish At Pre-National Invitational

New Orleans, Louisiana – The BGSU women's cross country team is now ranked 13th in the Greak Lakes Region, according to the USTFCCCA's Regional Team Rankings. This is the program's highest regional ranking in its current format.

Michigan State is ranked first in the region and Bowling Green is the fourth highest MAC school behind Toledo (5), Eastern Michigan (8) and Miami Ohio (9). Full rankings can be viewed by clicking here.

At the Indiana State Pre-National Invitational this past weekend, the Falcons placed seventh overall out of 33 teams, and first out of five Mid-American Conference schools. The Orange and Brown finished in front of Central Michigan, Kent State, Ohio and Akron from the MAC. Becca Rae finished in 24th place out of 219 runners, and was followed by Mackenzie McMillin, Brent Darah, Amanda Garlak, Allison Francis, Elena Lancioni and Jasmine Redman.

The team next competes the MAC Championships Nov. 1 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
