Auden, Rae Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are men's soccer player Max Auden and women's cross country runner Becca Rae.
Male Athlete of the Week
Max Auden, a redshirt sophomore from Naperville, Ill., scored both goals in a 2-1 overtime victory over then league-leading Western Michigan Saturday. Auden scored with under 15 minutes left in regulation to tie the score, then added the game-winner with 14 seconds left in the first overtime. It marked both his first two-goal game and his first 'Golden Goal' of his career. The win kept the Falcons alive in the race for one of four spots in the MAC Tournament.
Female Athlete of the Week
Becca Rae, a junior from Orillia, Ontario, placed 13th overall at the Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships, earning second team All-MAC honors and helping the Falcons to a fourth place finish, the team's highest since 2006. Rae set a personal best time of 21:13 despite cold race conditions, breaking her previous best time of 22:01, which she set last year at the MAC Championship.
