Falcons To Hold Intrasquad Scrimmage Saturday

Annual Orange and Brown Intrasquad scheduled 35 days prior to season opener.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team will hold its annual Orange and Brown Intrasquad meet Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. inside of Anderson Arena. Admission is free, and the intrasquad will lead perfectly into the men's basketball game against Alabama A&M at the Stroh Center at 4 p.m.
The squad will compete in one event at a time – vault, bars, beam and floor – with six-to-eight gymnasts competing on each event.
After the meet, fans are encouraged to stay to meet this year's team. Tables will be set up along the concourse level, and fans will be able to get the team poster signed by each student-athlete. This event may be pushed back to a later home meet if the posters do not arrive in time.
Bowling Green officially opens the gymnastics season on Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. against Michigan State at Anderson Arena. The Falcons return two All-MAC selections to this year's team in junior Alyssa Nocella and sophomore Lauren Feely, while last year's MAC vault champion, Amanda Lievendag, also returns to head coach Kerrie Turner's squad.
