"As a staff, we are really excited about the class we have put together for 2014 and the commitment these players have made to help restore the tradition of Bowling Green Women's Soccer," said Basalyga. "All nine players will complement our current roster very well adding athleticism, work ethic, and soccer ability to every role on the field.
"Additionally, several of these players have broken records for scoring at their respective schools. We are definitely adding a lot of offensive power."

She led the team in scoring in all four seasons, and earned All-Ohio Capital Conference accolades in each of the last three years, including all-league first-team honors as a senior. A team captain as a senior, she also earned all-district first-team honors and was voted team MVP. The Wildcats advanced to the district semifinals in both 2012 and 2013, winning 11 games in the latter year after going 1-13 in her freshman season.
