Cross Country Teams Named All-Academic; Men Ranked Fourth Nationally

New Orleans, La. – Bowling Green's men's and women's cross country teams have earned All-Academic Team honors by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) today. The men ranked fourth in the country with a 3.60 team grade point average and the women posted a 3.37 GPA.
The USTFCCCA honored 217 NCAA Division I women's teams and 160 men's teams that earned at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Bowling Green was one of 146 programs that had both their men's and women's teams honored.
The BGSU women's team was honored for the 13th consecutive year, while the men's team received All-Academic Team honors for the fourth straight year.
With a 3.60 cumulative GPA, the BGSU men had the best academic results in the Mid-American Conference trailed only Chattanooga (3.71 GPA), Hartford (3.69 GPA) and Vanderbilt (3.63 GPA) nationally.
