Women's Soccer Falcons Announce Spring Schedule

Everything we are doing this spring is small-sided because of numbers, but it will give our players lots of minutes and opportunities for success," said Basalyga. "We are looking forward to beating up on someone other than ourselves!"
The schedule begins on Saturday (Feb. 22), as the Falcons make a short trip north to Toledo. BGSU will face both the Rockets and IPFW in indoor, 9v9 games, with the BGSU-UT match starting at noon and the contest against the Mastodons starting at 1:15 p.m.
The Falcons then head to Columbus the next weekend (March 1) to face Ohio State in a 3:00 p.m. start. Then, each of BGSU's other four events will take place at home.
The Brown and Orange will host a pair of multiple-team events on back-to-back weekends, with action taking place at Perry Fieldhouse on March 29 and on the team's practice field on April 5. The March 29 event will see a trio of local teams join the Falcons, as Findlay, Tiffin and Owens CC will participate. On April 5, BG will welcome the University of Northwestern Ohio, Capital and Concordia (Mich.) to the practice pitch.
Then, Falcons will face the Eastside Kickers, a Canadian club team, on April 12 at Cochrane Field, and the spring slate concludes two weeks later, when numerous former BGSU greats will return to town for the annual Alumnae Match, which begins at 3:00 p.m.
