February 24, 2014 | General
Naples, Fla. - The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics recently concluded the seventh annual Doyt Perry Florida Classic. A Sunday night reception was alive with Falcon Spirit as 125 Falcons enjoyed the breathtaking gulf coast sunset while socializing with coaches, teammates and friends. BGSU President Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey, Athletics Director Chris Kingston and new Football Coach Dino Babers all spoke at the event.
On Monday, The Country Club of Naples was host to the golf outing under perfect Florida weather. Teams competed in scramble format for team prizes and individual awards. The Phi Delta Theta fraternity brothers generously donated a 19th hole reception following the golf.
Plans are underway for next year's event to be held Feb. 8-9. Please mark your calendar for an event you won't want to miss!
