Lievendag Named MAC Specialist Of The Week For Third Time

Cleveland, Ohio – Bowling Green State University junior gymnast Amanda Lievendag has been named the Mid-American Conference's Specialist of the Week for the third time this year.
Lievendag competed in two rotations as Bowling Green posted its fourth-highest team score in program history at Kent State. She tied her career-high on vault and set a new personal best on the uneven bars as BGSU scored 195.925 points as a team. Lievendag's 9.875 on vault was the best score of the meet in the event and her 9.925 on uneven bars also took first place. Her bars score was the third-highest in BGSU history as well.
Bowling Green completed the MAC regular season with a 4-2 conference record and is currently 7-7 overall. The Falcons will close out the regular season in a triangular at UCLA with Utah State Sunday at 5 pm. BGSU will then compete in the MAC Championships at Eastern Michigan University March 22 at 2 pm.
