Frank, Bartell Named Pizza Hut Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Pizza Hut Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are baseball pitcher

, a senior from Maumee, Ohio, tossed a four-hit, complete-game, striking out a career-best 12 batters in a 3-1 win over Western Michigan Saturday. His 12 strikeouts tied the MAC high for 2014 and Frank added a WHIP of just 0.55, shutting down the Broncose for the first eight innings before surrendering a run in the ninth.

Female Athlete of the Week
Lily Bartell, a sophomore from Hilton Head, S.C., tied for fourth at the 2014 Colonel Classic. She finished with a 155 two-round score to go +11, including the low round of the day Saturday, posting a 74 (+2). Bartell registered two birdies and 22 pars, going -1 over the final nine holes to earn All-Tournament honors.
