Baseball Announces Season Long Promotions

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio—The Bowling Green State University Athletics Department has announced several promotions for the 2014 baseball season. The promotions are a way for youth to get involved at Falcon baseball games this season.
The first promotion will be for every Saturday home game at Warren E. Steller Field, where youth 13-and-under will have the chance to take the field with the Falcons for starting lineups and the National Anthem. Those wishing to participate are asked to arrive at Steller Field and line up near the first base gate no later than 12:50 p.m. Following every Sunday home game during the 2014 season, youth 13-and-under will have the chance to run the bases at Steller Field. In addition to both those promotions, one kid will have the chance to introduce the Falcons during one-half inning during each Falcon home baseball game this season.
The Falcons return home this weekend for a series against Central Michigan. They'll host the Chippewas on Friday at 3:05 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
