"One of the most successful pieces of our program throughout the years has been our loyal fan base," said head coach Jennifer Roos. "The large fan attendance for our home and away games is amazing. Our program is looking forward to another year of seeing our great fans representing the school colors in the stands and supporting our team at every game. "
There are three options for women's basketball season tickets for the upcoming 2014-15 season.
Courtside seating is only $207 with a $500 Falcon Club donation in which fans will receive a complimentary bottled water and popcorn as they enjoy the game.
Anderson Club season tickets, located at center court, are just $196 with a $500 Falcon Club donation and provides access to the Anderson Club Lounge.
Both Courtside and Anderson Club seating ticket holders will have an opportunity to pre-purchase different food options, including a dessert and appetizer station at a reduced rate.
All season ticket holders will receive reduced season ticket parking rates and have access to the Ticket Exchange Program so that you will never waste a ticket!
Also included will be an invitation to a season ticket holder event with the women's basketball coaching staff.
The Falcons are tentatively slated to host 12 regular-season games, along with one exhibition contest, inside the Stroh Center this season. That schedule will include nine Mid-American Conference matchups, as BG looks to continue the success of a 2013-14 campaign which saw the team post an undefeated record in home games during the regular season.
Coach Jennifer Roos and her staff – assistant coaches Jesse Fleming, Jacey Brooks and Sahar Nusseibeh and director of operations Monique Rosati – guided the Falcons to a 30-win season and a MAC regular-season championship a year ago. The 2013-14 team went 30-5 overall and 17-1 in league play, capturing a conference title for the ninth time in the last 10 years.
BGSU has won 20 games in each of the last 11 seasons, with seven seasons of over 25 wins during that time. That 11-year stretch also includes the only two 30-win seasons the MAC has ever seen.
Last year's club broke the school record for home wins in a season, going 16-1 at the Stroh. The lone loss came in the quarterfinal round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), after BG had won three WNIT games by double-digit margins at home.
A total of eight players return from last year's club. The group of returnees includes seniors Deborah Hoekstra and Jasmine Matthews, juniors Erica Donovan and Miriam Justinger and sophomores Rachel Konieczki and Abby Siefker. Redshirt freshmen Leah Bolton and Kennedy Kirkpatrick return after missing most of the 2013-14 campaign.
The eight returning players are joined by four newcomers in Sarah Baer, Rachel Myers, Haley Puk and Lauren Webb. The regular-season schedule is slated to begin with a home game vs. Bucknell on Friday, Nov. 14.
BGSU fans may purchase tickets by calling 1-877-BGSU TICKET, online by visiting BGSUFalcons.com/tickets, or by visiting the BGSU Ticket Office, located in the Stroh Center, during regular business hours.
