Basketball Teams Meet With Media at the Stroh

The Bowling Green State University basketball teams, hard at work preparing for the 2015-16 season, took time out on Tuesday (Oct. 20) to meet with members of the media on the main court inside the Stroh Center.

Head coach Jennifer Roos and her staff guided the women's basketball Falcons through a spirited practice before players and coaches conducted interviews with various members of the media. Following a press conference by Coach Roos to end the women's portion of the interview session, the men's team took the floor as Michael Huger fielded questions from the assembled media. Then, the men's players met with the media before Huger and his assistant coaches led the Falcons through a practice session.
Fans can get their first chance to see the Falcons in action on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7. On Nov. 6, the men's team will host Notre Dame College in a 6:00 p.m. exhibition at the Stroh. The following afternoon (Nov. 7), the BG women will face Ashland in a 4:00 p.m. start.
Then, the following weekend, basketball fans have three chances in as many days to see their team in action at home. The women's team opens the regular season against Illinois State on Friday, Nov. 13, with the men's basketball Falcons facing New Orleans on Saturday, Nov. 14. Then, on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 15, the women's hoopsters will be back in action, meeting Bradley at the Stroh.
