Bowling Green, Ohio -- The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team finishes its season Thursday afternoon with a road matchup against the MAC West's Eastern Michigan. The game is slated for 3 pm in Ypsilanti, Mich.
FALCONS AT A GLANCE
Bowling Green comes off a hard-fought match against Western Michigan last Sunday, losing to the Broncos 2-1 at Cochrane Stadium. The Falcons have now lost six straight games after opening the conference schedule with two wins against Akron and Buffalo. Redshirt freshman Erice Hubert lead the team in goals (seven) and points (15), while sophomore Mikaela Couch and senior Haley Parkinson co-lead the team with four assists. Redshirt junior Lauren Cadel, who leads the MAC in saves, has recorded 105 saves with two shutouts this season between the pipes. BGSU looks for its first road win since defeating Eastern Illinois on Sept. 11 by a score of 3-2.
SCOUTING EASTERN MICHIGAN
The Eagles (5-10-3, 2-6-2 MAC) enter the match tied for fifth place in the West Division with eight conference points. The EMU offense is averaging 0.94 points per game and 10.7 shots per game. Individually, the Eagles are led by Kristin Nason with seven goals and 14 points. Rachel Washburn has recorded a team-high five assists this season, starting all 18 of the team's games. In goal for Eastern Michigan, Kaylin Williams has played 1022 minutes on the pitch, tallying 58 saves and two shutouts. This match for EMU is a must-win for a chance at a MAC tournament spot.
LAST MEETING VERSUS THE EAGLES
(Oct. 30, 2014) BGSU had its 2014 season come to an end as the Falcons suffered a 3-0 loss at home to the Eagles of Eastern Michigan at Cochrane Stadium. The Falcons finished the season with an overall record of 4-13-1 and a record of 3-7-1 in MAC play. In the 11th minute, EMU got on the scoreboard first. The Falcons appeared to have tied the match up in the 26th minute when a cross into the box from Haley Parkinson from the right sideline found the head of an open Skylar Fleak whose header went untouched into the right side of the net. However, Fleak was flagged for offsides on the play, thus erasing the goal and putting the Eagles back in front at 1-0. EMU went on to score two more goals to defeat Bowling Green 3-0. Offensively for the Falcons, Fleak, who had a team-high six shots, Madison Schupbach, Leah Runkle, Jessica Creech and Elisa Baeron all registered a shot on goal for the game.
BGSU VS. EMU ALL-TIME SERIES
The Falcons trail the all-time series with the Eagles 8-13-1, the only tie coming back in 2002. Bowling Green has dropped its last three contests to EMU with the Falcons' last road win dating back to Oct. 23, 2005 when BGSU recorded a 2-1 victory.
THE LAST HURRAH
The game versus the Eagles will be the last time seniors Haley Parkinson and Alexis Smith dress in a BGSU Falcon uniform. The two were honored on senior day on Oct. 25 at Cochrane Stadium before Bowling Green's match with Western Michigan.

"We have one last opportunity to compete as a team and another opportunity to move our program forward.
