BG Moves Up To No. 9 In Great Lakes Region Poll

The Bowling Green State University women's cross country team jumped up two spots to No. 9 in the Great Lakes Region poll, conducted by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). This is the highest regional ranking for the Falcons under head coach Lou Snelling.
The Falcons placed sixth out of 35 teams on Friday Oct. 2 at the Paul Short Run with a team score of 225.
BGSU is one of five MAC schools ranked in the poll. Of the MAC teams Eastern Michigan leads the poll at No. 8, followed by No.11 Central Michigan, No. 14 Toledo and No.15 Ohio.
Both the men's and women's cross country teams are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Pre-Nationals in Louisville, Ky.
