BGSU Women’s Soccer Announces 2015 Spring Season Schedule

2015 Women's Soccer Spring Schedule
Bowling Green, Ohio – Head Coach Lindsay Basalyga and the Bowling Green State University women's soccer program has announced their 2015 spring season schedule, which will include a 6v6 indoor tournament, seven different outdoor games, and an Alumni Game in mid-April.
"This is a huge spring for us in terms of moving our process forward. We're a very young team with only three rising seniors, five juniors, and ten sophomores. These seven events will give us a lot of time on the ball and plenty of moments for success both individually and collectively," commented Coach Basalyga. "The competitive energy in training over the last month has been exciting to watch and it will be great to start pairing that energy with the "soccer" to solve the challenges of the game this spring season."
BGSU will open up its spring slate with a 6v6 Indoor Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Perry Fieldhouse on the campus of Bowling Green State University. The indoor event will start at 8:00 a.m.
Following the indoor event, the Falcons will hit the road to play both Oakland University and Western Michigan University at Oakland in Rochester Michigan on Saturday, Mar. 28. BGSU will play Oakland at 1:05 p.m. and then turn around to take on Western Michigan at 2:15 p.m.
The month of April will be a busy one for the Falcons, as BGSU will return to the road to face off with both Ohio Northern University and Centre College on Saturday, April 11, at Ohio Northern in Ada, Ohio. The Falcons will play back-to-back games once more, as they will take on Centre College at 1:00 p.m. and Ohio Northern at 2:30 p.m. on that Saturday afternoon.
Bowling Green is then scheduled to return home to Cochrane Stadium to host the University of Dayton on Thursday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. and Tiffin University on Saturday, April 18, at 1:00 p.m.
The Falcons will also host their Alumni game on Saturday, April 18, at 5 p.m.
The spring season will then conclude on the following week, as BGSU will play against the Erin Mills Soccer Club on Sunday, April 26, at 1:00 p.m.
