Senior Spotlight: Brandon Howard

The 2015 Bowling Green State University baseball season is just two weeks away, so BGSUFalcons.com will spend time over the next several weeks spotlighting each of the five seniors on this year's team. Today's featured senior is Brandon Howard, a senior from Cincinnati. Last season, Howard played in 44 games for the Falcons, starting 37 of them. Favorite baseball memory at BGSU? My favorite baseball memory at BGSU would easily be the MAC tournament in 2013 when we went on a run to become MAC champions.
Favorite class you've taken at BGSU? Besides UNIV 1000 I would have to say Ancient Civilizations.
Why did you choose to come to BGSU? I chose to come to BG because it seemed to be the best fit for me after all my visits. Far enough away from home to get away but still close enough to easily go home. I also liked the coaches and campus and believed I would have a great opportunity to contribute for the Falcons early in my career.Â
What do you hope to do after baseball? After baseball I hope to pursue a coaching career or get my masters and become an athletic director.
How do you pass time on a long road trip? When I am not indulging in reading for leisure I am usually watching movies or listening to music.Â
What is your favorite meal? Chipotle is my life.
What is your nickname? Bhow the kid… Most people just call me Bhow though.Â
If you could meet three people – dead or alive – who would you choose? Kevin Hart, Martin Lawrence and Derek Jeter.Â
What is your favorite TV show? Martin and Breaking Bad

Who is your funniest teammate? Depending on what humor you prefer, I would say Andrew Lacinak (sarcastic) or Jevon Boyd (goofy).Â

What are you most excited for about your senior season and why? I am excited to see my fellow seniors last year of baseball here at BGSU. All of our seniors have had great careers and have worked extremely hard leading up to this last season so I think it would be great sitting back and watching what kind of year they have. I am also excited to get back on the field for myself in particular and pick up where we left off with aggressive play on the bases and style of baseball starting with game one vs Southeast Missouri State.
