Former Falcon Jehvon Clarke to Participate in the Scorers 1st Showcase on July 15-16

Las Vegas, Nevada – Former four-year Bowling Green State University men's basketball player Jehvon Clarke has been selected to participate in the 6th Annual Scorers 1st Showcase on July 15-16 from Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Scorers 1st Showcase has become a successful two-day event that features professional coaches from around Europe and the NBA Developmental League (NBA D-League) who provide training, development and lead exposure games (six per day) where players can "showcase" their talents and network with professional scouts, head coaches and general managers from around the world looking to round out their rosters for the 2015-16 season.

Clarke, who was one of the first 10 players selected to participate in the event (http://www.scorersfirst.com/showcase-news/-scorers-1st-draft-selections), is one of 60 players to be invited to the two-day event held on the campus of UNLV at the MPE South Gym, located just steps away from the Thomas & Mack Center and home of the NBA Summer League.

In his four years at BGSU, Clarke played in a total of 116 games, which included 40 starts over his last two years. Overall he averaged 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 2,423 minutes of action on the hardwood. The Canton, Ohio native recorded 888 career points, 267 career rebounds and 261 career assists, while also posting 109 steals. He shot 74.9 percent from the free throw line for his career, 38.4 percent from the field overall and shot 31.3 percent from behind the three-point line over his four-year career at BGSU. Totaling four 20-plus point games, he scored a career-high 23 points at Toledo on Feb. 5, 2014. As a junior in 2013-14, he was named to the College Sports Madness All-MAC Third-Team. He finished his career averaging 12.5 points his junior season and 10.7 points as a senior.
