Baseball Holds First Fall Practice

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team held its first official fall practice this afternoon inside of Steller Field. Fans can view a photo gallery from the practice by clicking the above link.
The team began at 2 p.m. with open hitting, prior to the practice starting at 2:45 p.m. The team started off by stretching and throwing along the outfield, prior to breaking into groups. Pitchers threw a bullpen session, while position players took outfield and infield practice. The coaching staff will spend a lot of time working on fundamentals early on in the fall, mixing in intra-squad games, as well.
The Falcons will conclude fall practice in late October with the annual Orange and Brown World Series. Game one of the series is scheduled for Oct. 15.
