Falcons Rank No. 11 In Great Lakes Region

The Bowling Green State University women's cross country team moved up one spot to No. 11 in the Great Lakes Region preseason poll, conducted by the United States Track and Field Cross and Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). This is the best regional ranking for the Falcons under head coach Lou Snelling.
BGSU is one of the six MAC schools ranked in the poll. Eastern Michigan leads the poll at No. 7, followed by No. 9 Toledo, No. 13 Miami (Ohio), No. 12 Central Michigan and No. 15 Western Michigan.
The teams are back in action Sept. 18 at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational. The women begin the 6,000-meter race at 11:50 am and the men will compete in the 8,000-meter race at 12:20 pm.Â
