Men's Basketball Travels To Italy Today

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team travels to Italy this evening, thus beginning its 10-day Cultural Immersion Tour that will span from Aug. 8-18. The team will bus up to Detroit for a flight that is set to depart shortly after 6 p.m., and the team is scheduled to arrive in Rome around 9 a.m. local time on Aug. 9.
The program will spend days in Rome, Florence, Venice and Lake Como before heading back to Bowling Green on Aug. 18. Fans are encouraged to follow along in a variety of ways.

Along with taking in historic attractions and learning more about Italian culture, the squad will be playing four games. The games are scheduled for Aug. 10 (Latina All-Stars), Aug. 12 (Florence All-Stars), Aug. 14 (Vicenza All-Stars) and Aug. 17 (TBD).
