Dufour, Lemke Named Vito's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Vito's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Kevin Dufour and diver Talisa Lemke.
Male Athlete of the Week
Kevin Dufour, a senior from Quebec City, Quebec, had two goals and an assist in a weekend road split with No. 18 Minnesota State. In Friday's 3-2 overtime win, Dufour scored a pair of second period goals, twice bringing the Falcons back from a one-goal deficit in the period. He finished with three shots and a +1 on-ice rating. In Saturday's 5-3 loss, he assisted on a goal late in the first period that briefly gave the Falcons a 2-1 lead.
Female Athlete of the Week
Talisa Lemke, a freshman from Berlin, Germany, won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events at both of the team's weekend meets, breaking a school record in the process. She scored 293.15 one the one-meter event in the first meet of the weekend to break the school record. She scored 309.35 in the three-meet competition as the Falcons best both Georgetown and George Washington. She topped her three-meter score against Towson with a 316.73 and again swept both diving events.
