Falcons Fall To No. 6 Ohio State

Columbus, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to No. 6 Ohio State Friday morning at the Varsity Tennis Center.
"Today was a great start to the season playing the No. 6 team in the nation," head coach Stephanie Dalmacio said. "We fought hard and made the opponents earn every point. We will keep building from here!"
The Orange and Brown started off down 1-0 to the Buckeyes after dropping the doubles point.
In singles actions, freshman Ayumi Sasaki battled against No. 88 Olivia Sneed on court 4. Sasaki suffered a loss in her first set, 6-4 to Sneed. Sasaki was tested again in the second set, eventually falling 6-3 after multiple ties.
The Falcons return to action Friday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. against IUPUI at the Perrysburg Tennis Center in Perrysburg, Ohio.
