Tunstall Attends Pro Combine in Texas

BGSU senior to perform in front of professional scouts
Bowling Green State University women's basketball standout Ashley Tunstall is attempting to further her career on the hardwood. Tunstall is attending the InsiderExposure.com Pro Combine on Thursday (March 30) which is being held in conjunction with the 2017 NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four in Dallas, Texas.

Tunstall, who recently completed her senior season with the Falcons, is one of 59 attendees at the one-day combine, showing off her skills for professional scouts from multiple countries around the globe. The players will take part in skill sessions, then will show off those skills as each player is assigned to a team that will play four 20-minute games on Thursday afternoon. The event is being held at the Duncanville Fieldhouse.
Tunstall, a native of Dayton, Ohio, played in 30 games during her senior season with the Falcons, starting all 30. She was third on the team in both scoring and rebounding, with 7.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, and also ranked third on the Brown and Orange in assists (1.3 per game). Tunstall shot a team-best 44.6 percent from the floor, and shot 33.3% from three-point range, going 12-of-36 on the year. In MAC games, Tunstall had 8.9 ppg and 6.1 rpg, shooting 48.4% from the field. She scored over 1,000 points in her four-year career, which included two seasons at Owens Community College.
Tunstall was assigned to Team 5 at the InsiderExposure.com Pro Combine, with her teammates for the afternoon including Kendall "KC" Waters (Cal), Teadra Jones (North Texas State), Deeshyra Thomas (Weber State) and Jermisha McRae (Webber International).
