NORMAL, Ind. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf program carded team rounds of 306 and 311 to end the day tied for fourth on the team leaderboard with a two-round combined score of 617, +41 at the Redbird Invitational. Both rounds were played at the Weibring Golf Club.

Out of the 12 teams, Bowling Green sits tied for fourth with Illinois State. Bradley is currently in first with a 608 team score, followed by Western Illinois (613) and Northern Illinois (615). BGSU is also ahead of MAC foes Ohio (630) and Ball State (635).

"We played solid today for the year's first rounds," said head coach Stephanie Young. "We are looking forward to tomorrow's challenge."

Bowling Green's 617 team score is tied for 10th best in program history for 36 holes. BGSU was led by Erin Fahey, who cared a 75 in the first round, and followed that up with a career-best 71 in the second round. Fahey's 71 ranks tied for eighth all-time.
