Kartusch Wins Diane Thomason Invite, Falcons Finish Fourth

DAVENPORT, Iowa – The women's golf team finished fourth in a 13-team field at the Diane Thomason invitational, led by Addison Kartusch, who won her second individual title of the year.
Kartusch opened with a 73, then carded five birdies and an eagle in a second-round 66. The junior closed with another 73 to finish at 1-under and take the title.
Avery Thompson shot 225 (+12) and tied for 13th overall, highlighted by a second-round 71 (E). Copelin O'Krangley tied for 27th at 230 (+17), Sammie Dolce placed 50th at 238 (+25), and McKenzie Miller placed 67th at 246 (+33).
Competing individually, junior Macie Elzinga tied for 54th, aided by a first-round 75.
