BGSU Ties for Fourth at Mary Fossum Invite, Kartusch Finishes as Runner-Up

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team competed in the Mary Fossum Invitational this weekend, hosted by Michigan State against a 15-team field at Forest Akers Golf Course. Due to weather conditions, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes instead of the original 54 holes.
Addison Kartusch led the way for the Falcons, finishing in second place individually after posting a two-round score of +2. Avery Thompson also had a strong performance, tying for 10th at +8. That was the best score Thompson has produced so far as a Falcon. Copelin O'Krangley finished in the top 20 for BGSU, tying for 17th at +10.
As a team, Bowling Green tied for fourth with Rutgers at +33, while Delaware claimed a team tournament win with a +23 total.
